Vijitha wijewarnakula: Colombo, Colombo, Sri Lanka; My humble journey in advertising started as a paste up artist and hand drawn illustrator. but with my quick learning and Exceptional hard work I took on the reigns to become an Art director and ended my professional career as an Associate Creative Director. I worked at Holms pollard and stott, Lowe Lintas, Y&R, LIWA Advertising Dubai and TBWA Sri Lanka. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, I have worked with many clients such as HSBC, Commercial Bank, Unilever Brands (Sunlight, Signal, Vim), NSB, IOC, S-lon Lanka Pvt Ltd., Samsung, Singer, Maliban, AIA, Dulux and Arpico, etc. My keen interest in Ideation, as well as my ability to push for creative ideas, has brought me glory in the international awards arena. one of my creative idea for the World Elders Day won numerous awards in Goafest, Shark Awards, Kinsale, Crystal Awards, Adstar. Shortlisted at Adfest and London International Award. Apart from ideation and advertising being my passion and life, I also love to work on vector illustrations.
